My mtDNA includes this lineup of females:
Margaret Laidlaw 1870-1963 Cambusnethan, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland to Detroit, Wayne, Michigan
Catherine Smith 1844-1938 Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire, Scotland
Margaret Hepburn 1813-1893 Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire, Scotland
Margaret Douglas 1786 – before 1841 Carluke, Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire, Scotland
Catharine Prentice 1762- between 1841-1855 Cambusnethan, Carluke, Lanarkshire, Scotland
Margaret Brownlee 1746 – 1792 Glasgow, Carluke, Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire, Scotland
Janet Jamphrey 1725 – after 1766 Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland
Elizabeth Campbell about 1700 – aft 1725 Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland
Names of female with birth and then approximate death years, Location of birth to death in order is next. As you can tell by the years, it goes newest to oldest.
If anyone has any of these people in their trees please contact me and we can see if we are a match. mtDNA is something both male and female have, but only yDNA is male.
I am sure we are cousins of some sort. Went to Monroe Museum yesterday. Great group of researchers there. They knew my ggf name Cyrus Everett on my paternal side …he founded London Township, knew this too. But, I didn’t know he fought in the revolutionary war. So I fiqure between the gggggf who signed the declaration of Independence and Cyrus I am a double dare? Lol
